Every night, we anchor on a different island, and with just a personal bedsheet, the mattress transforms into a cozy sleeping area. Our hosts cleverly shield the boat from the wind and sunlight, creating a complete sleeping arrangment.

What are we doing?

Embracing the theme of flowing during our journey Instead of following strict itineraries, this approach invites exploration and spontaneity, allowing you to follow the natural rhythm of the surroundings. Letting go of rigid plans to invite unexpected encounters and deeper connections.

Sailing off the beaten track!

Our journey will take us on an off-the-beaten-track island-hopping escapade across the picturesque islands of the Nile. We will stop at multiple farmlands and villages. One of our stops will be a visit to the largest camel market in the region. Additionally, we will explore the stunning Kom Ombo with its temple and market.

This island-hopping escapade promises to be both enlightening and enjoyable, showcasing the hidden gems of the Nile while connecting with the heart and soul of its communities.

Things you need to know

WHAT TO EXPECT

Food
Expectations

Expect 3 meals per day
all cooked fresh by our boatmen and hosts. The meals are simple but filling.

Comfort
Expectations

As we will be 10 people total, the boat is large enough to comfortably fit all of us. However, this is not your average arrangement, so flexibility to adapt is necessary. At night the boat is closed from multiple parts and mosquito nets/blankets are available on board.

Safety
Expectations

This region is the safest in the country. This passage passes by villages and towns. Every night we park in an island village to have shade from the wind and be safely parked.

Hygiene
Expectations

There is one bathroom on board our boat. It’s a western style bathroom with running water and a shower head. Video attached showcases it fully.

OUR
Host & Guide
